Professional skin treatments for acne, ageing, dullness & more
At Weymouth Aesthetics Clinic, I offer targeted, results-driven chemical peels to help improve your skin’s texture, tone, and clarity. Whether you’re struggling with acne, pigmentation, or dull, tired-looking skin, a professionally tailored peel can restore radiance, smoothness, and confidence — without the need for invasive treatments.
✨ What is a Chemical Peel?
Chemical peels (or skin peels) are clinical-grade exfoliation treatments that use active ingredients to remove dead skin cells, stimulate healthy cell turnover, and boost collagen production. This process reveals a fresher, clearer layer of skin underneath.
They’re one of the most popular non-invasive facial treatments for those seeking brighter skin, fewer breakouts, and a smoother texture — and they’re suitable for all skin types.
What Can Chemical Peels Help With?
Acne and post-acne marks
Pigmentation and melasma
Sun damage and uneven tone
Enlarged pores and congestion
Fine lines and early signs of ageing
Dull or rough skin
What to Expect From a Skin Peel
Each peel begins with a deep cleanse and skin analysis. I select the most suitable active formula based on your goals — whether you need anti-inflammatory, resurfacing, brightening or anti-ageing support.
The peel is applied in layers and starts working within minutes. Clients may feel tingling or light warmth as the solution activates — but the treatment is quick, safe, and tailored to your tolerance.
Peels are usually left on for just 1–4 minutes to start with, and we gradually build exposure over your treatment cycle for long-term improvement with minimal irritation.
📅 How Often Do I Need a Peel?
Most clients benefit from:
A course of 4–6 peels, spaced every 2 weeks
Followed by maintenance peels every 4–6 weeks to support ongoing results
Because skin cells renew every 28–40 days, consistent exfoliation is key to reducing build up, breakouts, and dullness — especially if you’re prone to acne or congestion.

Kojic acid
Kojic acid Jessner peel: In addition to skin-lightening effects, kojic acid also contains some anti microbial properties. It may help fight off several common types of bacterial strains even in small dilutions. This can help treat acne caused by bacteria in the skin. It may also lighten scars from acne that haven’t faded yet. Kojic acid inhibits and prevents the formation of tyrosine, which is an amino acid that’s needed to produce melanin. Melanin is the pigment that affects hair, skin, and eye colour. Because it inhibits the production of melanin, kojic acid can have a lightening effect.
