Vitamin D3 4000 IU + K2
High-strength vitamin D3 combined with vitamin K2 to support normal bones, muscles and immune function.
This maximum-strength formula combines Vitamin D3 with Vitamin K2 (MK-7) in one small daily tablet. Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system and the maintenance of normal bones, teeth and muscle function, while vitamin K contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and normal blood clotting.
Each pack contains 365 small 6 mm tablets — a full 12-month supply. The product is suitable for vegetarians but not vegans.
Key ingredients per tablet:
Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) — 100 micrograms / 4000 IU
Vitamin K2 (menaquinone-7 / MK-7) — 100 micrograms
How to use: Take one tablet daily with a glass of water. Nutrition Geeks advises that the product is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Because vitamins D and K are fat-soluble, taking the tablet with a meal containing some fat may support absorption.
Important information: This is a high-strength vitamin D supplement, providing 4000 IU per tablet. Patients taking anticoagulant medicines—particularly vitamin K antagonists such as warfarin—should seek advice from their GP, pharmacist or anticoagulation service before taking a supplement containing vitamin K. Anyone taking regular medication, other vitamin D or calcium supplements, or with a medical condition affecting calcium or vitamin D metabolism should also seek individual advice before use.
Donna recommends: I chose the D3 and K2 combination rather than a standard vitamin D supplement because I wanted the Wellness collection to contain carefully selected products with a clear purpose. Vitamin D is one of the nutrients I discuss most often in clinic, but this is a high-strength formulation, so my approach is always the same: supplements should be used appropriately, not simply because more sounds better. If you’re concerned about deficiency, proper assessment and testing are prefer
